TAMPA – It looks as though the Bucs have decided to keep three quarterbacks, at least for the start of the season.

Rudy Carpenter, the former Arizona State signal caller who produced passer ratings of better than 120 in two of the Bucs four preseason games, has been told he’s made the team.

Whether Carpenter sticks around all season is yet to be determined. The Bucs have discussed with Carpenter the possibility of placing him on the practice squad for this season, but for now he’s a Buccaneer.

In another roster-related move, we’re also hearing that S Sabby Piscitelli has made the team. There has been conjecture in some circles that Piscitelli might be cut after losing the starting strong safety job to Sean Jones.
