As a multistate salmonella food poisoning outbreak erupts, the effects have trickled down to the Sunshine State.
TBO.com is reporting that trucks of Florida-grown tomatoes are being turned away after 145 people in 16 states fell ill Monday.

The Burger King at Kennedy and West Shore wasn’t serving tomatoes today.
Federal recommendations urge consumers to avoid red plum, red Roma and round red tomatoes unless they were grown in certain cleared states and countries.

Oh no, I just used a red roma tomato yesterday. Time to toss that one out!
