Meet Your Match

Adopt a pit bull and win a prize package, plus money for your local shelter from the Americna Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Animal Farm Foundation.

If you’re looking for a dog, visit an ASPCA shelter and participate in the Meet Your Match program through Dec. 31.

The program matches dogs and adopters based on lifestyle, expectations and other factors.

Four times throughout the year, a winning match will be named, with the shelter getting a $4,000 grant and the dog-and-pet parent match getting a prize pack.

In February, the winners will be entered in the “Vote for Your Favorite Match” contest at aspca.org, and users can cast their votes for their favorites.

The grand-prize shelter winner gets a trip to New York City to participate in the third annual ASPCA Day celebration on April 10 and a $5,000 grant, and the pet parent-pooch duo wins a photo shoot with a professional photographer and a bronze of their top dog.

Go to www.aspca.org/adoptabull for details.
