After the doc found two suspicious moles on me at Friday’s Spring Swing, I decided to get a regulation skin screening right here at Moffitt.
I have an appointment at the end of the month to get my moles checked out.
I’m really nervous. I’m convinced that I have skin cancer.
Except I don’t have skin cancer on my NECK like I originally thought. Nope. It’s on my left HIP. And my fourth TOE on my right foot.
Likely I’ll have to have them biopsied. Ouch!
Josh has a suspicious mole on his back, and he is getting that checked out next week.
We’re going to compare notes on our experiences.
In the meantime, it’s comforting to know that of the more than 500 screenings the Mole Patrol has conducted during Spring Training, Josh and I are two of the more than 80 suspicious findings.
If you’re looking for a Mole Patrol sighting to get your free skin cancer screenings, don’t miss this year’s AirFest on May 3 and 4 at MacDill Air Force Base.
The Mole Patrol will also be at the Miles for Moffitt 5K and 1-mile fun run May 10 at the University of South Florida Sun Dome.
