It’s not a hickey. Not a sunburn. Mosquito bite? No.
What I do know is that I have this circular patch of red, flaky skin on my neck that won’t heal.
What is that??
Ever since I started at Moffitt several months ago, I suspect cancer is behind everything that’s wrong with me.
Could this be melanoma growing on my neck? There is a teeny tiny mole at the center of it all.
I told a colleague today that I’m planning to have the oncologists at Saturday’s Mole Patrol take a look. In fact, I’m getting inspected from head to toe.
She said it doesn’t look like cancer. She asked if it was psoriasis.
“What?” I asked.
“You’ve never heard of psoriasis?” she said.
“Yes, I have. But I don’t know if that’s what this is.”
So she thoughtfully called up Google images of psoriasis.
OMG, don’t do it!!
