there are so many different ways to use the shake. That is not stated on the package. The point behind this is to fill u up and it does. sometimes so full you feel like you ate a full meal. I mix it in sugarfree pudding the choc kind or the raspberry i mix in the fruit cups or with juice and yes drink down quick cause with fiber it will thicken up with time. Anything so I dont eat and it actually really helped my colitis and cholesterol. good luck- gail

I am really interested in this shake, my concerns about ordering it, is the taste. I tried another shake due to it’s money back guarantee, and thank god i could return it, it was like vanilla sand, i actually kept throwing it up. I have read your good and your bad, I really wish there was a way there could be a guarantee, any body, is there any samples.

I just googled thin doctor to order more choc shake and i noticed the negative blog. alright is not like eating a snikers however mixed well and drank quick before it gets to thick is not so bad. I have to tell you I have used this product for about 1 1/2 years and it works. i lost a total of 80 lbs and I thought oh this is just fiber i will just start eating foods high in fiberfoods for 3 months."NO LUCK “gained 7 lbs and now iam ordering more. good luck to all it feels great!!!

I hate to be negative BUT, I received my powder several days ago.  Today was my 4th day drinking the fiber drink. It tastes so bad I can hardly get it down!  Doesn’t anyone else feel the same?  Also, the first 3 days when you only take 1/2 scoop w/ 1/2 cup of water, did not affect me at all.  At least not how I want it to.  I did not feel at all full.  It did however make me have to stay close to the bathroom about 2 hours after eating, if you know what I mean.  I will still TRY to gag this stuff down because I really want to lose weight. I will sent another comment in about a week when I am taking the full dosage.

I placed my order on 7/30 and received the product today, 8/8, which is rather quickly considering how Dr. Levine’s staff must have been inundated after the information aired on Ch 8. 

I decided to check the status of my order on 8/6 and noticed a couple of negative comments on Gayle’s blog.  Based on what I read, I over-reacted and sent an email to http://www.thindoctor.com asking that my order be canceled.  I received an immediate response from Dr. Levine, assuring me that the order would be filled.  And actually my order was already processed before my communication with the doctor.

I look forward to trying the product.  As for customer relations, this organization is doing an excellent job.

I have 2 websites. http://www.thindoctor.net (smaller canister) and http://www.thindoctor.com (1/3 larger canister).  Small lasts 6 weeks initially, then 4 weeks. The large lasts 2 months then subsequently 6 weeks. The reason is the first canister has a 10 day break in period .
RE: Price complaint.  Most people save more in food they will not be eating than the $2 per day cost of taking my product. Some even save $$ as they need fewer meds as they reduce their weight. 
Lastly I strive for excellent customer service and have provided such for the past 5 years in selling this product.  Yes, our voicemail did get full...as fast as we could empty it. My staff or I contact anyone who needs attention.. Wishing you great health. Scott Levine MD

I placed my order on 8/01/07, today is 8/07/07 and I still don’t have my order, nor will they respond to my e-mails, and their voice mail is always full. I requested a refund.

If you start the ordering process on line it tells you that the first canister last for 2 months and subsequent canisters last 6 weeks.  This must be due to the break in period.  However, somewhere else it says that most people don’t do the break in period and are okay. I’m still not sure if I want to pay that much money to try it.

I also do not see where it tells how much a can will last.  I have tried calling the number to place an order for two days and the mail box is full.  Tried their regular number and am told the same thing that the mail box is full.
I was willing to pay the 96.00 to see if it worked, what could I lose, sounded to good to be true, which usually is not a good thing, but I can’t even reach the Dr.

I checked out the website for the Thin Doctor and I have to say that maybe his powder works and maybe it doesn’t but it is outrageously priced. $96 is a lot of money for a can of powder that they “don’t give refunds or returns” for. It doesn’t even say how much a can gives you. I really hope that a lot of people don’t get taken in by the hope of losing weight easily.
