I was at Walgreens today picking up a few things when I literally bumped into a sweaty couple.

Not unusual for an early Saturday afternoon. Except I noticed they had race bibs on from the Great Urban Race.

The 2008 national tour kicked off today in Tampa.

The race started at noon at Rock-N-Sports Bar & Grille in Ybor.

“Do you know where the fish statue is?” they asked the cashier.

“Down on Bayshore. It’s hard to miss.”

Sounds like a good time!

First place wins $300, second place $150 and third place an entry in the National Championship.
