Website for USF promises free food alerts

They’re typical college students, they say, who really hate it when they find out they missed a chance to snag some free food somewhere.

So they created fw2m.com, as in, from word to mouth (not to be confused with From Wilderness to Metropolis, which is cool, too, but different.)

Fw2m is a website for college students hunting for bargains, and parties, too. It includes separate calendar, freebie and alert listings for USF, UF and UCF.

The Freebies list for USF doesn’t have anything for free. It’s mostly a collection of 10-15 percent discounts at the retailers near campus, but the deals could get better as more people start using the site.

It’s not really clear who created this, but you can check it out here and judge for yourself how good it is.
