There should be no starving students at the University of South Florida for the next week with all the free pizza offered by clubs and organizations trying to lure you in.
And pizza is just the most common item on a list of freebies longer than a psychology lecture.
Click here to go to USF’s official “Week of Welcome” brochure.
Here are just a few examples of what you’ll find there:
- Pizza, Picnic, Prayers and Games on the Green, noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Castor Kosove Lawn. Sponsored by the Catholic Student Union.
- Smoothie King Give-Away, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Sigma Chi House in the Greek Village.
- LGBT & Ally Ice Cream Social, 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Marshall Student Center.
- BCK Beach Bonanza, featuring a PB&J buffet “with all the toppings you can imagine,” 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Castor Beach next to Castor Hall. Sponsored by Housing and Residential Education.
