Flowers are my all-time favorite hair accessory, particularly in the spring and summer months. A fresh flower in the hair can add a dash of color, romance or sexiness to everything from a solid T-shirt and jeans to a cocktail dress; not to mention it’s naturally scented.
Whenever I come across a gardenia plant, I can’t resist the urge to pluck a blossom and tuck it behind my ear, in my ponytail or up-do. (We have two gardenia plants at home that bear witness.)
The problem is, within a couple of hours, the bloom dries up and I’m left with a wilted flower. The FlowerPik is a beautiful hair clip with a tiny built-in vase you fill with water to keep your flower fresh and looking perky well after you pluck.

You just remove the top, fill with water, snap it and slide in a flower of your choice. You wear it just like a barrette. Even if you don’t add a flower, the rhinestone or pearl-encrusted barrettes look fabulous in your do. The FlowerPik is my must-have hair accessory of the season.
