Haven’t seen any signs of Kool, nor his Gang, to this point. Have no doubt they’ll be making the scene soon, though.
Not a whole lot in the way of news to this point, though there may be some later if and when Stu Sternberg shows up and addresses the media. In other matters, Joe Maddon said he hopes to sit down with Rocco Baldelli today and map out the next phase in his rehab. Sounds like he probably will be staying in Vero, but they haven’t made that official yet.
As for tonight’s game, Maddon is going with as right-handed a lineup as he can with the Astros throwing southpaw Wandy Rodriguez. That gives the seldom-used Shawn Riggans and Justin Ruggiano, not to mention Jonny Gomes, a chance to start. Good news for Gomes, though: Florida is slated to start two lefties in the three games against the Rays next week.

That God!! It will be nice to watch Jonny Play. But hard to watch him try too hard because he is always having to prove himself. We are still hoping he gets traded somewhere that he will play more. Go Rays!
