Penny’s a Nurture And Hold (NAH): Nah, I won’t pull that out yet, it’s still got a green shoot. She likes dragonflies, lady bugs and new stuff only after weeding, pruning and fertilizing.
Kim’s a Want It Now (WIN): Everything pretty, everything now. She will resort to full-spectrum insecticides in desperate situations, and believes it’s her duty and right to buy new plants every weekend.
Both advocate Plant Choice (SOMEthing besides crotons. Please!), lots of color and low maintenance. We don’t agree on everything, but we’re smart enough to learn from each other - and from you.

The first ever Dirty Dirty Plant Swap is on. We’ll see you from noon to about 1:30 p.m. today at Plant Park.
That’s at the University of Tampa, 401 W. Kennedy Blvd.
Come in the main entrance; you’ll see Plant Park on your right and Plant Hall on your left. Drop off your plants, if need to, then park in the faculty-staff lot on the west side of Plant Hall. If the lot is full, park in Thomas Garage, just a couple of blocks west at North Boulevard and North B Street.
If it starts to pour, we may quit early, but the plan for now is to be there at noon.
See you at the swap!

Thanks, Penny and Kim, that was a lot of fun. I now have some plants that aren’t frozen. Yay! I enjoyed the tour of Plant Park very much. It was quite interesting. I really enjoyed getting to meet all the FODers and now I can put faces to names. Kay
