I question AAA’s true interest in and ability to perform as consumer advocate in the area of towing services. One of my recent experiences called this into question as I had occasion to call AAA for assistance when my car wouldn’t start.
The dispatched tow truck driver attempted to talk me into towing my car to his shop and having the alternator replaced when all the car needed was a new battery.
I called AAA to report the driver’s actions and they were disinterested.
