I hit the 8 On Your Side Health & Fitness Expo at the Tampa Convention Center today.

Tampa General Hospital was offering free health screenings.

Blood pressure: 109/74

Nonfasting blood glucose: 88 mg/dl

Total cholesterol: low

Then it was on to the teeth-whitening.

Just kidding. That’s just odd. Although they were having a $99 special at the expo.

I ran into the Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Races coordinators. I found out that Moffitt has a team other than the Pink Dragon Boat Ladies!

I tested the free gait analysis station, complete with treadmills, courtesy of Nike. Looks like I’m overpronating only slightly. I was encouraged to try barefoot training to build strength and possibly correct my gait.

Ouch!

No expo would be complete without this little guy.
