In the past 24 hours, 30-year-old breast cancer survivor Terri Johnson reached her goal of raising $2,000 for the Komen Florida Suncoast Race for the Cure. I think it was because of YOU, Tampa Bay.

Let’s keep the effort going. Can we get her to $2,500 by race day (Saturday)?

Here’s why I think you should visit her Web page and give to the cause.

  • She’s 30 and has survived third-stage breast cancer.
  •

  • She’s a survivor of melanoma, too.
  •

  • She teaches exceptional student education.
  •

  • She’s an avid runner, duathlete, triathlete and more.
  •

  • She fundraises and runs so that no one else may have to endure all she has so young in life.
  •

  • She’s one of the coolest 30-year-olds you’ll meet.
  • You can do it!
