USF’s Patel School of Global Sustainability is bringing together an impressive group of experts tomorrow for Water Choices IV.
These are people who’ve worked for years to understand Florida’s water problems and forestall a crisis, though some see crisis conditions already.
The participants include Steve Seibert, formerly of the Collins Center for Public Policy, Cynthia Barnett, Florida Trend reporter and author of Mirage and Blue Revolution, Alex Sink, who recently launched the Florida Next Foundation, and Mosaic phosphate company representatives.
It promises to be a lively discussion.
Water Choices IV is part of a series of events that have taken place at other universities across the state. The most recent one, at UNF in Jacksonville, raised the question of how private and public organizations can work together. This one will build on that discussion.

The event is open to the public; the registration fee is $95. Go here, to register.
