The little things mean a lot. Especially when you’re paying top dollar for a gourmet meal.
A colleague at the Tribune had her birthday dinner last night at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar on Boy Scout Road in Tampa.
She particularly liked the way the table server offered her a black napkin to match her black slacks.
And when the bill came, they asked for their valet parking card so that their car could be waiting for them at the front door when they left.
“The plates were so hot that the food still cooks,’ she said. “"They wanred us in advance. ‘Your food is still cooking.’ The lobster out of the shell was the size of a small loaf of bread.’’
