I stopped by Panera today to use the ladies room.

Here’s what I found on the wall next to the sink:

Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for disease control.

(This is the microbiologist talking.)

But I’m also big on personal hygiene. Smelling nice. And not wanting to ingest anything gross.

I’m glad there’s a sign to remind us of our citizen duties.

Then again, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen ladies in the restroom NOT wash their hands after using the facilities.

Think twice about that before you dive into your next bagel or sandwich. Mmmm.
