Twelve-year-old Zachary Sharples had no idea how seriously people would take his Rayhawk.
His dad, 4-year-old bro and he all got the new ‘do on Sunday.
When he headed to Lincoln Middle in Manatee County on Monday, he was in for a surprise.
The mohawk violates school policy. He was told to shave it off, or face an in-school suspension.
Don’t these schools have more important things to worry about?
Because Zach knows where it’s at, he’s not shaving his hawk until the Rays win the World Series.
Fortunately he’s moving this week to St. Petersburg, where the Rayhawk is allowed.
