Jennifer Bradley has applied makeup to celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Kelly Clarkson and Drew Barrymore.

Bradley can now presidential candidate Barack Obama to the list. That’s right, she made up the presidential candidate Monday before we went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“When they [the Secret Service] called I squealed like a child,” said Bradley, 33, of Ft. Lauderdale. “When they say they want you to do [Senator] Obama’s makeup, you can’t believe it.”

Following an Obama rally in Miami Tuesday [and a Secret Service background check] Bradley was led backstage to a trailer where the Senator and his wife, Michelle, were waiting.

Bradley said it didn’t take much work to make the presidential candidate look good (now why isnt’ that surprising?). She said they all chatted casually about their families and and their backgrounds. And she told him how much she admired him.
“He’s got really good skin,” says Bradley, whose been a makeup artist more than 20 years. “He just asked me to take the shine out.”

Bradley said she used a translucent powder to banish the shine, a bronzer for some natural color, and some concealer to cover under eye circles. All of the products came from her Goddessy Rx skincare line, which is available at http://www.bestinbeauty.com. Bradley happens to be the spokesperson and makeup artist for Best in Beauty, an online sampling program based in Tampa that offers free samples of high-end cosmetics.

Bradley says it took about 25 minutes to get the senator camera ready for his close-up. And she was paid $300.

“I would have done it for free,’’ Bradley gushed. “I felt so honored and very blessed. This is the first time in years I’ve been so excited about doing someone’s makeup, and voting. I hope I get the chance to do [Michelle Obama’s] makeup someday, too.”
