Right now, I’m watching Al Roker in a “Today” show kitchen with Michael Jackson’s chef and she’s demonstrating the kind of food she’d make for the King of Pop.
Is this really necessary? And what is it with NBC’s continued fascination with all things Michael?
Am I the only one who thought Matt Lauer taking a tour of an empty Neverland days after Jackson’s death was just odd? “Here’s where the grandfather clock used to be.” “This room used to be filled with toys.” Yawn.
Frankly, the ONLY thing interesting about the tour was the worn area on the wood floor in the rehearsal room where Michael Jackson would do his trademark spin over and over and over. That was kinda cool - with emphasis on the “kinda.”
But do we really need to still be inundated with the little aspects of the dead star’s life. It’s been more than a month, I really don’t need to know that he liked a special kind of vinagrette on his spinach salad.
Enough already.
