Moffitt CEO calls mysterious meeting

The CEO of Moffitt Cancer Center caught our attention yesterday with a last-minute request to meet with the Tribune’s editorial board today.

Spokeswoman Michelle Foley was coy about the topic, saying “no patients were hurt,” but that CEO Bill Dalton needed to explain the rest.

“This is really his story to tell,” she said. “It’s just something we came across, and we fixed it….But we wanted to let people know, for transparency.”

At the moment, we are still in the dark about this mysterious event and our imaginations are running wild. We’ll know more after the 4 p.m. meeting.
