If you want to further your education take a course in physiology at HCC. There you will learn about the function of the pancreas in a normal person versus a diabetic person. The pancreas also produces glucagon to regulate blood sugar. Weight gain in normal people is not from a dysfunctional pancreas. That information is false. The reporter should have asked either a dietician or medical doctor. There is no magic potion or pill to lose weight, it is simply eating smaller portions(counting calories) of a well balanced diet. Exercise is also important, not only in weight loss but also to relieve stress.

Gayle,
One more follow-up for your viewer.....
As a CNHP, I do not offer personal nutritional advice. I work with, and support, several doctors in the Tampa Bay area who prefer their patients use the Matol Diet for their weight challenges. Any and all information that I share for the program is from Matol’s licensed Nutritionist in Canada and from the medical doctors on Matol’s Health & Nutrition Board.
I appreciate your viewer’s comments.
CNHP has been a gift to me. I continue to take additional courses because I deal with a major health challenge. Learning is a never-ending project for me so I am very grateful for any additional education I can get. Supporting people on their weight loss challenges has just been an added gift.

I would not expect this from a Northwestern grad. You obviously did not check your sources, again. After researching the CNHP“expert”, I found that anyone can get certified by attending 5 weekend seminars. No college degree needed just SEMINARS. If you want nutritional advice go to a registered dietician. Gayle, there are dieticians that you can use to check your facts, please use them. Here is a link: http://eatright.org/cps/rde/xchg/ada/hs.xsl/index.html

Gayle,
A viewer was questioning what CNHP stands for. It means Certified Natural Health Professional. It is a great organization and can be researched at http://www.cnhp.org ......
Thanks,
Barb

what does CNHP mean?
Posted by Barbara Lippincott, CNHP, Tampa, Fl on 02/25 at 08:02 PM
Gayle,
I appreciate you interviweing me about the Matol program for the pancreas. Most of the comments I read prove viewers are also appreciative. One viewer felt Matol might be a scheme, so it’s obvious they must have been “taken” by a company in the past. Matol is not this type of company. Matol’s mission is to impact world health, one person at a time so we offer a special $10 membership fee that allows anyone to purchase our products at wholesale. Plus, I coach them for free while on the diet. Retail prices on my website should be ignored. Viewers can phone me and I will explain the $10 membership and how simple and easy the diet program works. My home # is 813-886-2487.
Blessings to all,
Barbara Lippincott, CNHP

I have been “coaching” people on this diet protocol for two years now! I went from a size 12-14 to a size 4 in 6 months and lost 16% body fat using this protein protocol. The website does not do justice to the full understanding of the plan. It is best to have a personal coach to help. It is well worth $12 a day for the short run to save much more later~ and it does end. What is most important is to retrain the pancreas then re-learn how to eat in a different food combination~ It stays off if you do that! I am still a size 4 over a year and a half later! It is the LAST diet I will ever do~

I checked out this site. Chicken soup for over 4 dollars a packet?? What’s wrong with this picture? Then they want to auto ship this stuff, try and stop that once it starts!
Does this company want to rip off people or what?
I think Gail did an infomercial! And I tuned in to get the news!
Well, $29.50 for 7 packets of dry soup is news I guess.

Gail,
I watch your newscast every morning from 5:00 AM through 5:30 AM and enjoy everyone on the show. I missed the story on this diet and just a point of information, I am still working, I am 73 years old and overweight, so I am not sure that this will help me. I would like to know id I can benefit from this diet, please send me the information via email. Thank you

Could you please send to me a transcript of what was said on the air and any other helpful information as to how this diet and product (s) work would be most appreciated.
Does one have to visit “their doctor” to be guided along? I mean, how do these people that have lost all this weight (over 100 lbs. in less than 5 months and lived to tell the story “supposedly")done it, what exactly did they take, when and what did they eat?
Thank you

Hi Gayle,
If possible, I would also like to have a transcript of the segment you did on Matol. Is there anyway to play the tape online? I am one of those people just seeking the answer to this lifelong challenge
Thanks

I too checked out their website. Not very helpful as to how the diet works or how much of each item to eat. Do you have any more info on this diet?

Gail, I missed the show this morning and would like the transcript, or video. I am on day 40 of the diet and have never felt or looked better in my life. I have lost over 14 inches overall. It is very exciting to watch your body transform everyday. I have lost fat where could never lose it before. I am down 1 pant size. My husband has lost 25lbs and since starting the KM is free of his everyday back discomfort. He is down 2 pants sizes. We both have a ton of energy and highly recommend this diet. It is so easy and the food tastes great.

Gayle, I followd your link to Matol but they have no information except a price list and products. I was hoping to read about how this diet works, how it impacts the pancreas but no explanation was forthcoming.
I was not impressed with their site; looks like another marketing ploy to me.

Gail,
Last week you mentioned you were going to review anti-aging products this week.
I wondered what time you had this piece because I missed it. Can you post your results. Thank You,
