Most weeks when we do the ol’ Weekend Eats two-step around these parts, all you get are pretty photos of finished dishes looking all savory and sexy and ready for gorging.
This week, Christina McNally, who goes by the Twitter handle @guatemeha offered up a before-and-after of her bacon-wrapped chicken stuffed with Jalapeño and cream cheese.
The photo above is the before.
And this would be the after. Makes your tastebuds do a little dance, isn’t it?
For her detailed documentation of droolworthy vittles, Christina wins this week’s Weekend Eats award:
“The Lodge Cast Iron Cookbook; A Treasury of Timeless, Delicious Recipes.” target=“new”
Other contributions this week included:
@spiceandtea - Lasagna after running @262withDonna marathon. No pic, but trust me… it was religious!
@terrysimpson -Tea and water - sick, but did have chicken soup in the boardroom of @AlaskaAir - the best
@karenmcallister - Meatballs w/ @familyfoodie’s recipe. All at my house loved. Will use for Ital. Wedding Soup tonite.
And here’s this week’s gallery. Click on each photo to get a description:
