Let’s Do Lunch

I met the most interesting man name Roger - he wrote a book called “Lets do Lunch” - he doesn’t make money off this book - rather he gives all proceeds to those who help people battling weight issues.  The American Heart Association… The American Diabetes Assoc.  etc. etc.  Roger married his high school sweetheart - the two are so in love.. he was hugely successful in business - but when he weighed in at over 450lbs - Roger wanted to die. Instead he had an awakening.  He realized that he could eat his way to a normal weight.. and he came up with a plan.  People all over are trying it and losing weight - AND they are keeping it off!!  His story will air Thursday and we cook together on Friday - Hope you can check it out.. and weigh in what you think!!!!

check out great meals at ...

And here’s a link to a video where Roger discusses his recipe for potato pancakes made with butter beans instead of potatoes.

Just wanted to let you know that I am a relative “newbie” to Let’s Do Lunch, but my husband and I have been thoroughly convinced of it’s effectiveness! I lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks, and I feel wonderful! I have more energy, less insomnia, and have met a wonderful group of friends through the Let’s Do Lunch website. I highly recommend that ANYONE who is overweight stop dieting and start Let’s Do Lunch today! (:

This past May 19th I hit 204.5 pounds. Then,I found an article about Roger’s LDL.  Being in full menopause at 48 I doubted it would work but was hopeful.  I lost 7.9 lbs in the first week. I’m in my 9th week on the diet & have lost a total of 21.9 pounds.  I have many pounds to go but I thank God that Roger’s LDL came to me when it did. I love the foods I get to eat on this plan.  I have no cravings for sugars.  I love eating my protein at lunch.  I feel so much better & so much healthier.  This is not a diet, it’s a life plan.  Thanks for sharing the story so that others can find success.

I have been doing Let’s Do Lunch for awhile now. I am never hungry & I continually lose weight. I have tried the no carb & some other fad diets, but this way of eating incorporates all of the food groups in a logical way. I have noticed that I have no cravings for the foods that I used to eat & I am able to eat alot & actually feel full. All good foods. I love it!

I have been doing Let’s Do Lunch for the past year. I was born a long time ago, have a desk job, don’t exercise and have hypothyroidism, so I don’t lose weight quickly. I went with this new life style (not a diet) after my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. Our cravings are gone, my husband’s sugar level is controlled by diet, and I have lost 55 pounds. I highly recommend this new healthy life style. Never again be a slave to cravings and bathroom scales.

Let’s Do lunch has been a blessing to me.The easiest way to eat lots of regular food and still lose weight. My blood sugar is totally under control and have lost 95 lbs.

My husband and I saw Roger on a West Palm Beach, Florida television channel. It sounded great, we ordered the book immediately. I am a lifetime member of another program, but it does not work for me anymore. I have some serious medical issues, 15 medications daily. My doctor said a lot of my weight issues were the meds. We have been on the “Let’s Do Lunch” lifetime way of eating for 8 weeks. I have lost 13.5 lbs and my husband has lost 29 lbs. We are never hungry and we do not have any cravings. I prayed for a solution, and God sent “Let’s Do Lunch” by way of Roger. Thank you Lord .

I have been on LDL for almost 6 weeks and I have lost 12 lbs and 1 full size! I saw Roger Troy on the local News and could not believe what I was hearing.  I love frozen grapes and cherries, popcorn, fresh fruit, beets, three bean salad and I could not believe he was telling me to eat those foods and I would lose weight. I ordered the book right away. I lost 8 lbs in the first week!  The loss has slowed since then, but my body is changing, my clothes fit differently, I feel great, and let’s face it....LDL is sooo easy to do,why would I do anything else.

After reading Let’s Do Lunch, I was very skeptical because it sounded too good to be true. I had failed at so many other programs.  But I tried it and lost 20#, best of all, I have kept it off!  I have never read a book before where the author is only an email away! There is a support group and many recipes on the web site. I am a diabetic and this program has been approved by my dietician. I recommend this program to all who have failed at everything else, it works!

I was a lost cause with an underactive thyroid and a major junk food habit. I have already lost 30 pounds in 6 months. I have NO cravings and i eat as much as i want.I tried taking all kinds of supplements to battle my fatigue(green tea extract, sun chlorella, cellfood, noni juice)What helped me? “let’s do lunch”. As an RN with 34 yrs of experience,i have learned that there is ONE healthful and easy way of losing weight AND keeping it off. This program has changed my life.

I have been on many diets in my life. I came into this world heavy and have been obese ever since. My husband started gaining weight around age 11 and didn’t slow down. We had both reached our all time highs when we decided to diet again. However, it wasn’t until I found Lets Do Lunch that we gave up dieting and changed our way of life.

When he retired 4 years ago, it was all he could do to walk from the parking lot into the plant. This past Memorial Day, he walked the 2.5 mile “Walk for Fun” with fellow veterans and supporters. Together, we are down a total of 178 pounds and never felt better. As others have discovered, we’re eating ourselves thin.

I started Let’s Do Lunch Feb. 28th and have not felt this good in years. I have tried every kind of diet from Atkins to starvation and back. Nothing has worked like LDL. I have lost 55 lbs. in 4 and a half months. It sounds too good to be true, but it is amazing. It really does work. I am never hungry and truly enjoy eating the LDL foods. I don’t ever worry about whether I am losing or not because every time I weigh, I lose. I only think about how much I have lost. It is an amazing program.

I have been on Let’s Do Lunch for a little over a month and have lost 13 lbs and still going. This has been the easiest “ diet plan” I have ever followed. I always have plenty to eat and my cravings for sweets, soda and bread have all but disappeared.

Last Fall I heard about Let’s Do Lunch and immediately began the program.  Within 2 months I had lost 20 lbs and reached my goal weight.  7 months later I still follow the maintenance program and have not gained any back!!  I can not believe the amounts of food I ate to achieve this neither could many around me who also started LDL.  This plan is wonderfully healthy!!

My husband and I have been on Let’s do lunch for a little over 2 weeks now and I have lost 7lbs.  I am not hungry at all and my doctor is very pleased with my success so far. My husband has been on high blood pressure medicine for years and he went to the doctor on Monday and the doctor cut his meds in half and if his pressure stays normal which it is he will be off the meds soon.

I bought the Let’s Do Lunch book a couple of years ago, and even though I was skeptical, I figured I’d give it a try because I wanted an easy way to lose weight (doesn’t everyone?!) My size 10 clothes were a bit tight and I really wanted to get down to a size 8 again.  Over the course of the next six or seven months, I ate myself skinny!  I’m a size 2 now, and I eat lots of good healthy food.  It’s hard to believe I had such a hard time before reading this great book!

I love Let’s Do Lunch...I lost 51 pounds and have had the weight off now for more than 3 years! What a way to lose weight!...eating until I am full in all the food groups means that I am never hungry, all of my cravings have been eliminated and I never get sick of the foods I am eating!
