After weeks of speculation about whether chef Jeannie Pierola would announce a permanent location for her Kitchenbar pop-up concept, the answer is in:
It’s time to do another pop-up, the third in a series that started last winter.
As with the previous incarnations at Pinky’s and Chef’s on the Loose, Pierola will utilize a space already occupied by a restaurant. This time, she’ll use Restaurant BT on south MacDill Avenue in Tampa Tuesdays through Saturdays from Aug. 2-28.
BT Nguyen-Batley, operator of Restaurant BT, will be in France during that time. That allows Pierola and her staff to slide into the kitchen and dining room to serve what has become a dedicated following of fans.
As with the most recent incarnation in April at Chefs on the Loose, Kitchenbar will pair Pierola’s eclectic menu with wines selected by consultant Amy Cairns. Cairns was wine director at SideBern’s in Tampa and cheese sommelier at Bern’s Steak House.
The Kitchenbar reservation line opens July 25th. For reservations, call (813) 374.4537.
