A few of us escaped the office today in celebration of a colleague’s birthday.
Calling Nancy a chocoholic is a bit of an understatement. We lavished gifts of chocolate truffle cake and chocolate-covered strawberries on her first thing this morning—which turned into breakfast.
It was only fitting that we frequent the newly opened Choxotica in Carrollwood.
There you can indulge in more than 200 premium chocolate bar varieties—from Vosges Woolloomooloo and Red Fire bars to Guittard Ambanja Bittersweet and Askinosie Soconusco—and chocolate drinks such as White Chai and Cinnamon with Vanilla Bean that will sooth your very soul.
There’s white, milk and dark; organic; sugar-free; nut-infused and fruit-filled. A storage area is 63 to 65 degrees with no more than 50 percent humidity. Most varieties sell for $4 to $13.
Check out the bars on tap:
It’s a little slice of heaven.
In case you couldn’t tell, we left completely satisfied.
