Getting to USF graduation Saturday could be a challenge

If you’re not graduating or watching someone graduate at the St. Pete Times Forum on Saturday, stay away.

Here, there be dragons.

Somehow, graduation was scheduled at the Forum at the same time as the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships across the street. Thousands of people will be there competing and watching.

The races are happening all week on the Seddon Channel between Davis and Harbor islands, with championship runs all day Saturday, starting at 9 a.m.

If you’re a graduate, or attendee, and can’t stay away, organizers say you should come early.

Forum doors will be open to students and guests at 12:30 p.m. The program is set to begin at 2 p.m.
