When I was a girl, I had a terrible allergy to fleas. When they bit me, I’d develop large, nasty, itchy welts on my legs and feet. And no matter how hard I tried to stay inside, they always found me. And there was no lotion or potion I could use to keep them away from me. I still shudder when I am around dogs thinking what critters may lie under their coats.
Well, the years of battling the dreaded blood suckers and scratching the welts did a real number on my lower limbs; I’ve got so many scars and scratches my feet and legs look like a road map.
What’s a girl to do? Now there’s makeup specially designed for your tootsies. Allyson Carey, a makeup artist best known for her work in the CBS soap The Bold and Beautiful, calls her creation Tintalize The makeup is supposed to be smudge proof, sweat proof and rub proof. It dries fast and won’t stain your clothes or bedsheets (I hope to try it soon so I can let you know if all this is true).
The foundation comes in a choice of seven colors ranging from Vanilla Mousse to Chile Chocolate and retails for $15.
If you’ve got corns, bunions or callouses going on, this won’t help you. But if you’re feet just need a little smoothing out, Tintalize just might be what you need!
