So, if I drink more water hubby can get a new suit? It sure looks like it.
An Israeli company has devised a new way to help fashionable men go green, without them even realizing it. Bagir has teamed up with Sears to sell the world’s first suit made from recycled plastic bottles.
The “EcoGIR” suit, sold under the Covington private-label, is available in Sears stores across the United States. It’s made from wool and recycled PET plastic bottles collected in Japan. The line includes blazers and pants that are washable and dryable.
Each suit is made from about 25 recyclable plastic bottles and sells for around $200. If this is the kind of look a few plastic bottles can create (model not withstanding) I can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeve next. Maybe they’ll think of a way to make nice shoes from old tequila bottles. I sure would contribute to that.
