I love me some perfectly arched eyebrows. In fact, it’s an obsession (probably because I grew up with brows resembling Groucho Marx). They were thick, unruly, sasquatch-like. Several years ago, I decided to get permanent ones. That’s right, I never have a hair out of place because they are tattooed. For keeps.
Think about, I must have had some serious confidence (or lots of tequila) to allow someone to put something that WON’T WASH OFF on my face. But I did lots of research before making the decision. And they don’t call Lourdes Gali the “Queen of brows” for nothing.
Since I’ve had mine done, I find myself constantly checking out other women’s brows. Now, I don’t judge them by their brows. I have friends who have skinny ones, fat ones, bushy ones, even unibrows. And it’s all good (but trust me, I do tell them).
Now, go examine your brows. If they need some help, here’s a little advice from Gal on how to whip them into shape.
The inner edge of the brow should never extend past the nostrils; Use a powder eyeshadow to fill in empty spots; clean em’ up with waxing, tweezing or threading; And lastly, use a comb to lift the stray hairs up and clip em’. Beautiful brows will frame your eyes and make your mug look fabulous even on your worst days. Trust me, mine do.

I had the worst experience with waxing once and never went back again. It left me with blisters for over a week!
I’ve never struggled too much because there thin, but I’ll love to have them bring out my eyes more, so I’m going to try using this eye shadow trick. Thanks!!

Getting “permanent” eyebrows 14 years ago was the BEST thing I ever did! My eyebrow hairs were very unruly, had NO shape and were hard to manage. Now, I have beautifully shaped brows with my natural hair, and the “ink” gave them the definition they needed. Thanks Lourdes Gali. She is truly a permanent make-up/skin genius and the person to put your trust in.
