People are milling about outside the courthouse and inside the courtroom. Many are discussing the case, trying to predict how long the jury will be out and whether the state proved its case.
Some think the jury will come back about 2 or 3 p.m. Central Time. Others have suggested a quick, one-hour acquittal.
Everyone seems to agree that there is no way to win public opinion. Between the misinformation out there and the polarized opinions about this case, whatever the jury decides will be criticized.
