ARTLINK JAPAN, a multicultural exchange project funded in part by the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Pinellas County Department of Cultural Affairs. ARTLINK pairs professional artists with member artists from Creative Clay who are diagnosed with a disability. The teams work together to create artwork and performances. Similar agencies in Japan are implementing the ARTLINK project and 3 artists from Creative Clay will travel to Japan from April 13 to April 30, 2007 to participate in public forums, museum lectures, gallery exhibitions and lengthy discussions on how to enrich, share and build this concept into a global experience for all participants and viewers.
