It doesn’t matter whether you’re pretty or you have a great body; looking good is all about having confidence.
That’s what a nationwide survey from Gamma women, a growing segment of American women estimated at some 55 million. The found inner qualities like self-confidence, positive attitude, humor and intelligence are more important than external factors like a pretty face, great hair or a perfect figure, especially among Gamma women.
They define “self-confidence,” “positive outlook on life,” “sense of humor,” “engaging smile,” and “upbeat personality” as the top criteria to their definition of “beauty.”
Who hasn’t been told growing up that beauty comes from the inside. But it doesn’t take long to figure out beauty is very tangible and very external. Unfortunately, that’s the society we live in.
But your perception of yourself can have an enormous impact on how others perceive you. Perception is reality — the more self confidence you have, the more likely others will see you as more attractive. So stand up straight, shoulders back and smile!!!!
