On Friday, I psyched myself up for the worst.
It was time to get the results of my mole biopsy. And get those itchy stitches taken out.
As soon as Dr. Cherpelis walked in the door, he shared the news: “Congratulations! Your biopsy came back negative. In fact, your mole wasn’t even pre-cancerous. You’re good to go until next year’s skin screening.”
WHEW!
I was so ecstatic, I celebrated with a chocolate frosted doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.
Hey, I thought I deserved it.
Because I like blood and guts, I took a pic of my stitches before they disappeared. Although I almost accidentally removed them myself.
You gotta be careful with these:
**WARNING!! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE MY STITCHES, TOO BAD. AVERT YOUR EYES AND SCROLL DOWN.**
