Every day, four children die from a car accident. More than half are preventable. Safe Kids USAhas information and listings where car seat safety checks are being conducted. You can also check with your local children’s hospital, police and fire stations for information.
St. Joseph’s Childrens Hospital has an active child advocacy center and provides information on how to choose a car seat, how to install, and at what ages car seats may need to be upgraded or adjusted.
After children outgrow their car safety seats, don’t just transfer them to the car seat - use a booster seat. Take this quiz to find out which type is right for your child.
Thanks to her 3-year-old Marilyn, who unbuckled the seatbelt that strapped in her car seat, Tricia Mandarino created the Angelguard to prevent little hands and fingers from doing the same.

Love your program and always watch it. I was curious about the angelguard and tried to find more information, but the link to angelguard doesn’t work.
