What happens when two strong Latinos from different religious backgrounds find amor despite their parent’s medling?
Cindy Almanzar and Maykel Rivera live in Tampa.

Cindy is Dominicana and Maykel is Cuban. She’s a very intense Dominican novia who wants to control todo. Pobrecito Maykel doesn’t stand a chance. Now her parents, who are strict Pentecostals, like to meddle in their affairs, leaving voicemails citing bible quotes (Ayyy Caramba!) But this couple stays strong, and refuses to have a religious ceremony. Add an open bar and Ice sculpture shots at the wedding and you’ve got a real-life novela unfolding right before your eyes.
