I rounded up the ladies from the office and hit boot camp after work today.
Yeah! Gary offers his boot camp at 5:30 Thursday evenings at USF, and after numerous invites, I decided to take him up on his offer.
Gary, from team That’s What She Said, had his hands full with eight of us.
We warmed up with a jog: forward, backward and side-to-side.
Then we broke up into two teams of four for a relay. I loved the competition.
The relay operated around four cones arranged in a square.
Contestant No. 1 did 10 push-ups at the first cone. Then you crawled sideways to cone 2, where you did 10 mountain climbers.
Then it was walking lunges to the third cone, where you sat on the ground and held your body in a V-shape (legs and upper body off the ground). This is where contestant No. 2 would begin the same circuit while you held the V.
Once No. 2 reached the third cone, you did the sideways crawl to cone No. 4, where you did another 10 push-ups. Then it was walking lunges to the start, where you held your body in a plank until No. 2 reached you.

The competition was intense! I loved it.

We did another jog series to shake things up. Then we had a cone race.
We started at cone No. 1 and ran to cone No. 2. As you circled around, you had to run backward (diagonally) to cone No. 4. Then you ran sideways to cone No. 3. Finally you hauled butt forward back to the start.
Everyone got a turn, with Gary in pursuit. As soon as you got to cone No. 2, he was on your heels.
He tried so hard to catch me that he slipped! That’s what I thought!

Let me know if you’re interested in checking out G’s boot camp!
