Ever watch MTV with your kids? Maybe you should.
With two preschoolers, it’s not usually a good option for my household.
But the music video station is what many preteens and teens watch.
Which might explain the dancing style that won’t seem to go away.
Booty shaking or grinding is a mainstay in nightclubs, so, of course, teens want to do it, too.
Some are doing it at the high school homecoming dance, and some, administrators say, are taking it a bit too far.
The sexy move has left more than a few teachers and even students embarrassed.
The complaints have prompted at least one Hillsborough high school to make a rule: face to face with space.

Do students really need a rule to remind them not to dance in a way that resembles a sexual act?
The ones we talked to said no. And teachers agreed. Rules can be divisive, especially about something subjective.
