Ban The Trans
Trans fats, that is, in California. It became the first state to ban the synthetic fat in restaurants.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger recently signed a bill to phase out their use beginning in 2010 and from all retail baked goods in 2011.
New York City adopted a similar ban in 2006.
