CAPE CANAVERAL – After 220 orbits and 5.3 million miles around the planet, the shuttle Atlantis was given the green light to re-enter the atmosphere for a planned 9:07 a.m. landing at Kennedy Space Center.
The crew has spent 13 days in space and successfully delivered the Columbus science lab to the International Space Station.
This also marks the first of six shuttle missions NASA hopes to complete this year.
