When I had hair—before I chopped it all off—I used to wrap it around the top of my head into a high chignon, pin it into place and spray it down. Oh how I wish I had hair to replicate that style, because it looks like the top knot is back.

From recent runways – including the Venexiana and Woman’s Mafia Fall shows - to celebrities like Victoria Beckham, the top knot or chignon is becoming one of the fastest growing hair trends for 2010. Renowned stylist Philip Pelusi, along with creative director Jeffrey Reitz, created a variety of gravity-defying top knot looks seen during Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Week.
