The AARP and the Las Vegas Better Business Bureau call American Consumer Benefits a scam. The BBB has turned over its investigation to the Federal Trade Commission. Check out the following tips to avoid becoming the company’s next victim:
If a caller ever quotes your personal information, THIS IS A RED FLAG, end the conversation immediately. It is possible when you confirm your personal info and say ‘’YES,’’ that the caller is recording your voice and getting the verification they need to take money out of your account.
If you get a call such as this, contact your bank and secure your account.
Never give personal information out over the phone.
Avoid solicitations by signing up for the national Do Not Call Registry or call the FTC toll-free 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you want listed in the database.

WHEN IS A 5 POUND BAG OF POTATOES NOT A 5 POUND BAG?
When you buy it at Winn-Dixie at the Intersection of Hwy. 301 and E. Fowler Ave.
After weighing 15 bag of potatoes and by several different suppliers the other day not one of then weighed over 4.6 pounds the majority of then averaged 4.2 pounds.
This might not seem like a lot to some people but there are many families that times are tough and they should get what they are paying for.
