You know, I could go on and on with a lot of blah-blah about the Steve Otto Chili Cook-Off, and about how hard it was for me as a judge in my first year to force my way through 38 different chilis, and about how the Krewe of Zingaro and team captain Bill Nipper were the judges’ choice winners and took home $1,000 for their efforts, but it would only get in the way of the photos, which, you know, are the only things you really want to see. On Saturday, Steve promised to share the winning recipe. But that was after a pantsload of chili and way too many alcohol-laced bribes from contestants. Who’s to say what I’ll actually receive.

I know I’m biased, but why wasn’t there a/any picture(s) of the First Place Chili Team, The Krewe of Zingaro????
