It’s something almost everyone can discuss: The upside down state of homeowner’s insurance in Florida.

This issue involves our family finances, our most valuable possessions, and our emotions.  Premiums have skyrocketed, loyal policyholders have been dropped, and the state has stepped in with Citizens Insurance. The crisis has forced some Floridians into choosing whether to put food on the table or insure their home. People have organized themselves, and some have even started an online petition drive.
