Due to severe weather, all South Florida Community College (SFCC) campuses and off-site locations in Highlands, Hardee, and DeSoto counties will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 30.
The Hardee Campus will be needed as a special needs shelter, any classes scheduled after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hardee Campus have been cancelled.
Activities scheduled through Tuesday evening at the Highlands and DeSoto campuses will continue as usual.
No decision has been made regarding the college’s opening on Thursday.
