With so many different times and places, it’s tough to keep track of where the main characters wound up during last year’s season finale. Here’s a cheat sheet:

Jack: In 1977, drops bomb down the shaft, hoping to re-set time
Juliet: At the bottom of a hole in 1977, possibly dead when the bomb exploded
Kate: Attempts to rescue Juliet in 1977
Sawyer: Distraught over Juliet’s demise in 1977
Miles: Involved in the shoot-out at the Swan site in 1977
Hurley: In 1977 but not involved in the big shoot-out
Jin: In 1977
Sayid: Shot in 1977 but hanging in there
Richard Alpert: Waiting outside the four-toed statue in 2007
Sun: At the statue in 2007
Ben: Inside the statue, stabs Jacob in 2007
Locke: In the coffin in 2007 while unLocke is manipulating Ben
Jacob: Dead?
Frank: At the statue in 2007
Charlotte: Dies of a time-travel sickness, unknown date
Faraday: Shot on the island in 1977 by his mother, Eloise
Rose, Bernard and Vincent: Living happily ever after in 1977
Widmore: Shows up at the hospital where Desmond is treated in 2007
Desmond: Gets shot by Ben in 2007 but supposedly survives
Penny: Last seen at a California hospital in 2007 while Desmond has surgery
Walt: Talks with Locke in 2007, living in New York
Michael: Apparently killed when the freighter off the coast of the island exploded in 2004
Claire: Disappears in the jungle on the island in 2004, leaves Aaron behind

Supposedly this is legitimate, but I am trying to remain spoiler-free, so I didn’t watch. But it’s getting a lot of chatter on twitter, so if you want to see the alleged first four minutes of the premiere, follow this: http://digg.com/television/Lost_Episode_6_01_Sneak_Peek

Book a Flight on Oceanic Airlines?

If you search the popular travel site Kayak.com for a non-stop, one-way ticket from Sydney to Los Angeles on September 22nd, 2010, Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 will come up as a result.

Is this a way to get to the island for real? Nah, but it is a fun easter egg for Lost fans. When you try to buy the ticket, it will redirect you to the Lostpedia article on Oceanic Flight 815.

For another Lost egg, do a search for Jan. 11, 2011, LAX to Guam and Ajira Airways Flight 316 comes up - the flight which returned the Oceanic Six (minus Aaron), Ben and Locke to the island in Season 5..

Season 5 Finale: I don’t get you, Jack

Posted Jan 27, 2010 by Courtney Cairns Pastor

I watched the Season 5 finale last night (“The Incident”) and realized I have a lot of catching up to do. There was so much I had forgotten. And I still am having trouble following Jack’s logic. If he agrees with Locke now and believes in fate, why is he trying to alter the future by detonating the bomb? Doesn’t that go against fate? I thought Miles had the most interesting line of the show – he asked how Jack knew he wasn’t causing the Incident instead of preventing it.

Despite rolling my eyes a bit at how quickly Kate and Juliet came around to Jack’s side, I still got sucked into the finale. Seeing Locke in the coffin gave me chills. Again. I also appreciated pop-up Lost pointing out that Jacob touched each of the Losties – there was a debate when the episode first aired if he had to give them something or if what he said was significant, but it turns out it is his touch. Interesting.

Welcome to the News Center version of The Swan, where an opinionated group of journalists (with a few of their relatives thrown in for good measure) discuss, debate and speculate what’s happening (or not) on “Lost.”

We’ve long had these chats in e-mail at work, but have decided to bring out them out of the bunker for the final season of the ABC drama.

And we want to hear what you think. Counter our conclusions, feed us your theories. Heck, just tell us we’re crazy.

But to get the conversation started, let’s list the questions we need answered to have a successful final season.
