Where in the World is Matt Lauer? Hits 10th Year

NBC “Today” show announced today that Matt Lauer will be logging more frequent flyer miles.

Lauer has logged 248,166 miles, visited 46 different destinations, traveled by airplane, zip line, camel and gondola, and said hello to America in 24 languages. Starting Monday, November 7 on NBC’s “Today,” Americans can once again ponder one of television’s greatest mysteries… “Where in the World is Matt Lauer?”

This year’s trip marks the tenth anniversary of “Where in the World is Matt Lauer,” and the weeklong expedition will cover five amazing locations around the globe in five days. Following the tradition of the series, Ann Curry, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, as well as millions of viewers at home, will have no idea where Lauer will be each day until he appears live on the air at 7 a.m. Lauer’s past trips have taken him to such exotic locales as a Buddhist temple in Laos, the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan, the Cliffs of Moher in Galway, the mysterious Easter Island, the Pyramids in Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India and The Great Wall of China.
