The CW has announce the debut dates for its fall season, including the teen romance drama “The Vampire Diaries,” which premieres Sept. 1.
Based a a series of books by L.J. Smith, the series is about a teenage girl who is attracted to a new kid at school who happens to be a centuries-old vampire. He wants to do good, while his brother is wicked.
Here are other primetime premiere dates for The CW shows in the fall:

• 7 p.m. “America’s Next Top Model” (two-hour season premiere)
