The CW has announce the debut dates for its fall season, including the teen romance drama “The Vampire Diaries,” which premieres Sept. 1.
Based a a series of books by L.J. Smith, the series is about a teenage girl who is attracted to a new kid at school who happens to be a centuries-old vampire. He wants to do good, while his brother is wicked.
Here are other primetime premiere dates for The CW shows in the fall:
Tue., Sept. 8
• 7 p.m. “90210”
• 8 p.m. “Melrose Place”
Wed., Sept. 9
• 7 p.m. “America’s Next Top Model” (two-hour season premiere)
Thu., Sept. 10
• 7 p.m. “The Vampire Diaries”
• 8 p.m. “Supernatural”
Mon., Sept. 14
• 7 p.m. “One Tree Hill”
• 8 p.m. “Gossip Girl”
Wed., Sept. 16
• 7 p.m. “America’s Next Top Model” (regular day & time period premiere)
• 8 p.m. “The Beautiful Life: TBL”
Fri., Sept. 25
• 7 p.m. “Smallville”
• 8 p.m. “America’s Next Top Model” (encore episodes)
NOTE: New drama “Life UneXpected” (formerly “Parental Discretion Advised”) will premiere midseason.
