America has fallen in love with dance competitions and now couples are wanting to look good on the dance floors at parties, clubs and whenever the music plays.
TLC has a new series “Rock the Reception” on which the celebrity husband and wife choreography team, Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo (of “So You Think You Can Dance?"), will try to get engaged couples to move their groove. The series debuts on July 15 but there is a sneak preview at 9 p.m. Sunday on TLC.
The series follows two engaged couples as they painstakingly – and often clumsily - rehearse a professionally choreographed production number as their first dance for their wedding reception.
The happy couple are taught their mighty moves by Napoleon and Tabitha, who have trained such superstars as Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Celine Dion. But the fun of watching the newlywed’s dance number - coupled with the shock, screams and whistles from their stunned wedding guests makes this series a really fun summer fling!
